This Rainbow STEAM Day is a collection of engaging STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) centers, activities, and printables. It is full of engaging rainbow-themed activities. This STEAM day is great to use for a STEAM day, as center rotations, as a once-a-week Fun Friday activity, as a Reward Day, or any day!

What’s Included:

• Two rainbow science experiments, Grow a Rainbow and Rainbow in a Jar, with recording sheets and a Scientific Process poster.
• Rainbow Boom Card™ Beginning Blends Boom Card™ Game with picture and audio support (40 card deck)
• The engineering challenge is to design and build the tallest tower to hold a rainbow high in the sky. The challenge includes a recording sheet and an Engineering Design Process poster
• Two art activities: Rainbow and Writing Craftivity and a Cloud and Rainbow activity.
• The Subtraction Number Locks math activity can be used as task cards or put in a sensory bin. There are also optional recording sheets.

How do I set up the Rainbow STEAM Day?

There are many different ways this day can be set up. Split kids into small groups and rotate through the activities over a one day period, or spread it out over two weeks (one day per week). You can also do one center/activity a day. Many of the activities are independent, so that the Rainbow STEAM Day can be done with one teacher. The activities can also be done whole class if enough materials are prepared.
